Dr. Nancy Turner, a distinguished professor at the University of Victoria, has collaborated with Indigenous communities of northwestern North America for over 40 years in documenting and promoting their traditional knowledge of plants and habitats. This is the first of a three-part lecture series sponsored by the Botany Department, WISELI, University Lectures Committee, American Indian Studies (AIS), CIAS, Agroecology MSc, Anthropology Department, CHE, & UW-Madison chapter of SACNAS.
