David Jablonski will give a talk titled "Out of the Tropics: Dynamics of the Latitudinal Diversity Gradient" at 4 p.m. A light reception will follow.
David Jablonski is a professor at the University of Chicago. He is a paleontologist who studies macroevolution, which takes place above the species level and encompasses large-scale patterns of evolution, mass extinction, diversification and the origin of evolutionary breakthroughs.
