"New England's Annoyances: Music of the early American Puritans" shares musical reflections of the lives of the first settlers from England who settled in what later was called the Massachusetts Bay Colony. A free pre-concert lecture by John W. Barker entitled “Out of Many, One: From Colonies to States” takes place at 6:30 p.m. The Madison Early Music Festival is a series of concerts, lectures and workshops in and around the UW-Madison School of Music.
Cost
Festival Pass ($75), individual concerts: $20 ($17- students and seniors over 62).
