The world’s largest freshwater system, the Great Lakes, is in our backyard. The lakes have shaped Wisconsin culture for hundreds of years. In contemporary times, 175,000 Wisconsin jobs are tied to the lakes and countless people enjoy lake-related recreational opportunities. Before all this, massive ice sheets that stretched across North America shaped the lakes themselves. This presentation will offer a closer look at the greatest lakes on Earth.
