J. Mark Kenoyer, Professor, Department of Archaeology at UW-Madison, and director of the Center for South Asian Studies.
This talk will present an overview of recent research being carried out on technologies in ancient China at the sites of Anyang (Shang) and Houma (Western Zhou). Comparisons can also be made with similar technologies carried out in other early urban societies in west.
