CANCELLED DUE TO ONGOING POST HURRICANE SANDY ISSUES. Week nine: Dr. Joseph Schloss, adjunct professor of Black and Latino Studies, and Sociology at City University of New York, will lecture on “From the Source to the Course: Issues and Strategies for Collaborative Hip Hop Scholarship.” This year's series will again focus on how hip-hop culture can provide innovative approaches to help bridge the achievement gap with new strategies to reach historically underserved students.
