Flipping the Classroom: Benefits and Challenges

The Roundtable will feature discussion surrounding flipped classrooms – a form of teaching and learning in which lecture-based instruction is delivered online as “homework” and in which “homework” is performed in the classroom where students can engage more deeply with the content along with the instructor. The facilitators will discuss the advantages and challenges of flipping classrooms and the interest and investment in flipping classrooms by the College of Engineering.
