The growing importance of China in the global economy means that its domestic policy may have spillover effects around the world. Dr. Jikun Huang is the head of the China Center for Agricultural Policy, the national think-tank on ag. issues, and the leading ag. and food policy adviser to the Chinese government. His research spans agriculture policy, plant biotechnology, intellectual property rights, environmental and resource economics.
