Laboratory research on Spanish in contact: Prosodic and segmental phenomena

Presented by NAVE Visiting Scholar Erin O’Rourke. Professor O'Rourke teaches Spanish linguistics at the University of Alabama. Professor O'Rourke's research focuses particularly on the area of intonation in language contact situations between Spanish and indigenous languages in Peru and Ecuador. Professor O'Rourke is one of the few experts in the field of Spanish intonation.
