Applying Research Findings and Results to Scientific Communities

It is satisfying to discover and document new things about the scientific community, but some scholars are content to publish within the STS community. Consistent with findings that women and minority scientists want their work to be of relevance to society, Dr. Jarita Holbrook incorporates findings into workshops for astronomers and physicists and into documentaries. Dr. Holbrook will describe these activities and the response of the astronomy and physics communities.
