Susan M. Reverby is a professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Wellesley College and an historian of American women, medicine and nursing. In 2010 her article on immoral STD inoculation studies by the U.S. Public Health Service led to a public apology from the U.S. government to Guatemala and garnered worldwide media attention. She has given more than 50 lectures on this issue since 2010.
