We are having a series of speakers coming to campus as candidates for this position. Each of their talks will focus on a topic about Hmong Americans. Mr. Yang Sao Xiong is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at UCLA. His research interests include the study of racial and linguistic inequalities in public schools and the political incorporation of immigrants in the U.S.
