Erevelles will discuss three scenarios that foreground how the politics of race, class, gender and sexuality constitute a violent political anatomy of the body that enables the fetishization of the flesh and has critical implications for a more nuanced and complex mode of describing “becoming disabled” in the transnational contexts of neo-liberal politics.
