Wednesday Nite at the Lab

Jean Phillips, Space Science and Engineering Center, describes how this new museum will capture the excitement of more than 40 years of breakthroughs in the atmospheric sciences and engage learners of all ages in understanding the concepts behind the research. Named for the “Father of Satellite Meteorology,” the museum will showcase pioneering work in remote sensing technology and the integral role of the UW-Madison in advancing weather and climate research.
