Description
Zhi Ping Xu, University of Queensland. Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), also known as anionic clays and exemplified by hydrotalcite (Mg6Al2(OH)16CO34H2O), hold tremendous potential as drug/gene delivery vehicle. In this talk, Xu will present findings that LDH NPs can be quickly taken up by various cell lines, in a clathrin-mediated dose-dependent and time-dependent endocytosis pathway.
