Reception for the exhibition "Romare Bearden: A Black Odyssey", with music by the Richard Slayton Trio, refreshments, and a cash bar. Before the reception, at 5:30 p.m., Robert G. O’Meally and Zora Neale Hurston Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University will give a lecture “We Are All a Collage: Romare Bearden, Toni Morrison, Duke Ellington,” in the auditorium.
