La Cineteca Presents: Io non ho paura (2003)

It's 1978 and the hottest summer of the century in Apulia, a village in southern Italy. The few adults have retreated inside their houses to escape the murderous heat while the only ones to venture outside are the kids. When nine-year-old Michele makes a startling discovery one day, what was once an idyllic youth not moments before is soon overshadowed by a brutal, adult reality.
