Description
Complex computer simulations like computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis now play an indispensable role in preliminary and conceptual design in engineering. Applications of complex simulations include chip design in semiconductors, engine design in auto and aerospace, building energy in civil engineering and traffic modeling in transportation. With the increasing scales and complexity of simulation models, the role of data becomes more and more prominent in this field.
