Tania Bubela, professor of public health sciences at the University of Alberta, will discuss how global public-private collaboration on stem cell research will bring benefits such as reduced intellectual property costs, stronger standards for research tools and methods, and less duplication of effort in a secretive environment. Bubela's talk is part of the Ethics at Discovery Series, sponsored by the Morgridge Institute for Research.
