This workshop provides social service professionals with a basic introduction to the immigration system, how it impacts individuals and families, and some of the key issues that different immigrant groups face. You gain an understanding of the lived experience of immigrant life and resources to strengthen your practice, and learn how to provide more cultutally competent services to immigrants.
