UW Philsophers Tackle Contemporary Issues

Prof. Russ Shafer-Landau, chair of the UW-Madison Department of Philosophy, will give a talk in defense of the legal recognition of same-sex marriage. He'll offer an argument from equality on behalf of such recognition, and then present and critique five arguments that oppose legalizing same-sex marriage. The talk is free and open to the public, and will be followed by a Q and A session.
