Described as the largest trade agreement of all time, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership is currently being negotiated between the European Union and the United States. The aim is to remove trade barriers across a wide range of economic sectors to make it easier to buy and sell goods and services between the EU and the US. The TTIP would dwarf the North American Free Trade Act (NAFTA) in size, and could bring well over $100 billion per year into the US economy.
