Description
The class will demonstrate the versatility of Linux, a free and open source operating system that functions much like Unix, focusing entirely on command line interaction with the operating system in order to ensure that students leave the class with a strong, universal skill set. All class content is designed to apply to a variety of systems, including recent versions of Red Hat Linux, Novell Linux Desktop, SUSE and Solaris Unix. Prerequisite: Basic computing skills.
