Continuing Studies

This 5-week course covers many topics addressed in introductory music theory courses, but with an emphasis on playing by ear and the goal of increased ability to improvise and to play with others. Music reading is neither expected nor necessary. We start with the major scale and move to chord construction, chord extension, chord progressions, transposing, and the circle of 5ths. All instruments welcome.
