Friends since childhood, Lucia, Maria and Paolo find themselves in an awkward situation. Maria and Paolo are engaged to wed, but when Maria leaves a party early one evening, Lucia's friendship with Paolo takes an unexpected turn towards romance. In order to lure Paolo away from his unsuspecting fiancée, Lucia casts actor Antonio as the perfect man to seduce her rival.
