The Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection is pleased to host Patrice George for their annual Harris Lecture series. Ms. George will present a historic account of seven fiber technological innovations that changed the world: rayon, nylon, polyester, acrylic, lurex, spandex and cotton.
Patrice George is an assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City as well as founder of Patrice George Designs, a studio and consultation service.
