Description
Beginning in 5000 BC, natives of Wisconsin and northern Michigan fabricated most of their tools, hunting/fishing weapons, and ornaments by heating and hammering copper from the Lake Superior region. Tens of thousands of artifacts come from archaeological sites from this time period. We visit the Wisconsin Historical Society's large display of old copper artifacts.
