Description
Ambassador Ian Kelly was State Department spokesperson, appointed by Secretary Hillary Clinton, in 2009-2010. In that capacity, he advised Secretary Clinton on media engagements, accompanied her on her travels, and briefed the State Department press corps on a daily basis. He will talk about how the State Department uses engagement with the press with promote U.S. Foreign policy objectives.
