Description
September 2-3, 2008; 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Currently education, training and professional research landscapes often separate rather than integrate the mathematical and biological sciences. This separation works against the potential of comprehensive, mathematically-based reasoning and tools to enable biological discovery. Integration of the mathematical and biological sciences is needed at all points of the knowledge-education-educator-researcher continuum.
