Lecture Series: In My View

Harvey M. Jacobs, Urban and Regional Planning, describes how the majority of humankind now lives in cities while people retain a wistful affection for rural life. Discussing works on display at the Chazen, Jacobs will explore the complex relationships people have with nature and the machine (the city). “In My View” features periodic lectures in which the museum invites faculty members to choose one or more artworks on view and to interpret them from their disciplines.
