Wednesday Nite at the Lab

Tom Zinnen, Cathy Vrentas, Angela Jones, Eric Domyan and Tiff Akins of the Biology Outreach Club give a hands-on opportunity to do electrophoresis, an electric race through a gel slab that separates mixtures of molecules. The group leaders pose an imitation crime scene to challenge the audience's ingenuity to compare four samples of "Alien Blood" food color mix with a fifth sample found at the scene of a crime.
