Dr. Hannah Kirking, who earned her bachelor’s and medical degrees from the UW-Madison, works on the public health frontlines, conducting epidemiologic investigations, research and public health surveillance both nationally and internationally. She is an epidemic intelligence service officer at the CDC and a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Public Health Service, responding to public health emergencies and disease outbreaks across the world.
