The UW School of Medicine and Public Health has recruited national and local experts to present on a variety of topics including the necessity for and controversies surrounding hospital ethics committees and the ethical issues in basic research and clinical trials. We will also honor Norm Fost, MD, MPH, professor emeritus of bioethics and pediatrics at UW SMPH.
