Professor Michael Bell finds that nature, faith, and community together form an ancient triangle of beliefs: sometimes supporting and sometimes conflicting with each other in ways both heady and frightening. He argues that moral and political challenges associated with the rise of urban, class-based societies encouraged us to think about the ancient triangle through absolute notions. The professor asks us to embrace a more multi-logical view that is ceaselessly intriguing, alive, and creative.
