Description
In the early 20th century, beer production and distribution helped to shape an imperial, transnational, and commercial vision of regional geography known as The Great Southwest. This presentation examines how the built environment of beer worked to anchor the Great Southwest region to St. Louis, economically, materially and symbolically.
