Ecosystem services are often outside the domain of commercial markets yet are essential to society. Our speaker wil focus on interactions between land use and management, soil physical processes, and ecosystem functioning. The aim is to advance understanding of impacts of land management on soil processes and related ecosystem functions essential to address the global challenges of water and food security, land degradation and restoration, and climate adaptation.
