Description
One of two evening plenary addresses at this conference, presented by the Lubar Institute for the Study of the Abrahamic Religions. Paul Knitter, Paul Tillich Professor Emeritus, Union Theological Seminary will speak on "Religious Pluralism as the Great Challenge of the Twenty-First Century." The conference gathers 18 scholars to examine the perspectives of major world religions in honor of the 50th anniversary of "Nostra Aetate," a document outlining interfaith relations issued by Vatican II.
