Description
What is the aim of going "offgrid," and what is the grid such that anyone might want to be off it? Is the offgrid aspiration in developed nations an outmoded residue of 20C environmentalism and Holocene thinking? How have climate change and the Anthropocene altered the politics and ethics of the grid? Is there, indeed, an ethical subjectivity involved in the grid, or is infrastructure intractable to ethics? What histories might help us think about this?
