Description
When one-armed veteran John Macreedy (Spencer Tracey) gets off the train in the little town of Black Rock, Ariz., he finds the people there oddly cold and suspicious. Soon he learns that the townspeople are hiding a shameful secret, a secret they would kill to protect. Beautifully shot in CinemaScope, nominated for three Academy Awards.
