Description
Paul Robbins, director of the Nelson Institute, speaks. As frontiers of wildlife conservation extend into wholly humanized landscapes, are the Anthropocene landscapes of a quickly-changing planet amenable to conservation? Under what conditions? This research investigates biodiversity in booming commodity production landscapes of southern India. Many species thrive, but their fates are intertwined with the condition and aspirations of the rural working poor.
