Der Shmues

The Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture brings back the sounds of mame loshn to the UW-Campus. This is not a class but rather a lively and easygoing conversation group for people of all skill levels to come together and revel in the sound of the vibrant language of the 1,000-year-old Ashkenazic civilization. Led by Mayrent Institute director Henry Sapoznik and Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies director and Professor of German Mark Louden.
