Paul Barford, Department of Computer Sciences, will discuss the challenges in mapping Internet topology and describe Internet Atlas, a map of the physical interconnection structure of the Internet under construction at the University of Wisconsin and its implications for risks in US long haul infrastructure and opportunities to improve performance and robustness.
