Cramer will share with us what she has learned about how people in other parts of the state think about Madison, Madisonians, and UW-Madison from her five years of research, which included inviting herself into coffee klatches in 27 communities across the state. She’ll talk about a pervasive urban-rural divide, its implications for our politics, and what, if anything, we might do about it.
