Partners in Health Engage: Strides in Solidarity 5K Run/Walk

Join PIH Engage Madison as we run/walk in solidarity with community health workers all around the world. Community health workers help care for patients in areas where professional health care is unavailable. Besides being a efficient and sustainable resource, significant evidence suggests that these workers greatly improve health outcomes for large populations in underserved regions. In order to reach their patients, community health workers often have to walk hundreds of miles each year.
