Description
Cynthie Anderson, assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology, is working with colleagues in Ethiopia to expand access to long-term, reversible contraception and decrease maternal deaths. Family planning is a priority in Ethiopia, and a Global Health Institute Seed Grant has supported collaboration between physicians at Hawassa University and UW-Madison. The project is based on a successful model developed in Dane County.
