Compensation: A Liturgy of Fact—a staged reading

On the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, this reading explores the immediate aftermath. Based on accounts of survivors and cleanup workers, the play was written by Sergei Kurginian and translated by Carolyn Kelson with Alex and Helen Prokhorov. Directed by Manon van de Water; featuring the students of Slavic 900/Theatre 911: Contemporary Russian Theatre.
