Former leader in the Gay Liberation Front and post-Stonewall LGBT activist Karla Jay will visit Madison for National Coming Out Week to discuss her role in modern LGBT civil rights since 1969. Writer of over a dozen books on LGBT history including her most recent "Tales of the Lavender Menace: A Memoir of Liberation," Jay has devoted her life's work to providing future generations with words of courage in the fight against homophobia.
