Badger Volunteers Education Session: Sustainability Issues and the Peace Corps

The Representative for the Peace Corps, Abigail Cook, will talk about her journey with the Peace Corps in the developing West African nation of Senegal. She will describe her service as an Agriculture Extension Volunteer. She will discuss her projects, cross-cultural experiences, and how her work let her to the UW-Madison Water Resources Management Masters Program. Finally, she will address the importance of embodying the Wisconsin Idea and how it relates to the goals of the Peace Corps.
