Beautify Lakeshore Preserve with Alt Breaks

Alternative Breaks doesn't just send people across the country to volunteer, there are plenty of opportunities in our backyard as well! Come volunteer with Alternative Breaks and help keep Lakeshore Nature Preserve beautiful! A perfect study break and an excuse to be outside! We will meet at Picnic Point Fire Circle #2 at 12:30 pm for a free lunch donated by Jimmy Johns. Volunteers will then get to work removing invasive species, which can be a serious threat to biodiversity.
 
Gloves and tools will be provided. Please come wearing closed toed shoes and long pants.
