Description
Skin diseases involving T-cells range from rashes and sunburn to psoriasis and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. These are the most common problems in dermatology. The most common drugs used to treat inflammation are corticosteroids, which are short-acting. This underscore the need for finding new options. Chamcheu’s research uses a patient’s own skin cells, together with high-throughput biophysical approaches, and tissue-cultured skin to test natural plant-derived extracts in psoriasis.
